SHANKLAND (Dun Laoghaire, and formerly of Ballybrack, Co. Dublin and Fochriw, Wales) – April 3rd 2024 (suddenly) at home. Laurence (Taffy); dearly beloved long term partner and best friend of Karen, much loved son of Patty and the late Emrys and brother of the late Martin. Sadly missed by his loving partner, mother, brother Barry, sisters Jayne-Marie and Adele, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his beloved dog Olly, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

 

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Monday (April 8th) from 6pm with a gathering of family and friends for 8pm prayer service (all welcome to attend). Removal on Tuesday (April 9th) to the Church of S.S. Alphonsus & Columba, Ballybrack Village arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Laurence’s passing. His weekly visits and chats will be missed by all of our team here in Appassionata. Karen, you are in our thoughts along with your families too. May he rest in peace and look after you from above.

To karen and olly so sorry to hear of the passing of Laurence, he was such a joker and messer when I worked with him and then to see him few years later he hadn't changed one bit,

He will be such a huge loss to people and friends alike. Thinking of you at this time xx
