DUNNE (née Higgins) (Cairnbrook Avenue, Carrickmines, D18) (peacefully) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at Carysfort Nursing Home, Glenageary) – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bernadette Dunne, who left us on March 11th 2025, at the age of 71. Bernie was a beloved spouse, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend, cherished by all who knew her. She touched many lives with kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. Bernie will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind her husband Ron, son’s Barry and Graham, daughters-in-law Megan and Donna, granddaughter Hayley, her sisters Kay and Ann, her many nieces and nephews and a legacy of kindness, laughs and compassion.

Reposing at Patrick O Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Thursday (Mar 13th) from 5pm to 7pm. A Service to celebrate Bernie's life will be held at the Church of Our Lady of the Wayside, Kilternan on Friday (Mar 14th) at 11am, followed thereafter by her Cremation Service at 12.45am in St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel within Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home.
